mru2025 and environmental consultation

mru2025 executive team members are among the citizens who are consulted and contacted by ministries as well as other platforms and NGOs involved in coastal conservation, nurturing an openness as well as an improvement in the relations between all stakeholders. In addition, mru2025 has established a regular line of communication with certain international conventions such as the Ramsar convention, as well as the main funders and international development organisations.

mru2025 encourages the creation of a coastal conservation council based on the model of the French Coastal Conservatory, which is present in out sister island of Reunion. The approach consists of not only coordinating efforts but sharing expertise and technical resources as well as scientific data collected by associations or sponsored by mru2025, like the ENCA project.
